Named Austin’s Best Cover Band, Skyrocket plays AM-radio “solid gold” hits from the 1970’s, mixed with edgy favorites from the 80’s – songs you forgot you knew and loved. This seven-piece band takes its name from the series of “super hits” compilation albums advertised on TV in the ’70’s, and much of the band’s repertory appeared on those records.
