DJ Roo, a product of Houston’s Northside, gathers his influences from a variety of backgrounds and genres spanning hip-hop, punk rock, New Wave, breakdancing, and skateboarding. Bred by his influences, DJ Roo’s curated sound gains its footing from this varied background.
Although he couldn’t breakdance himself, “I did always love the music everyone was breakin’ to,” Roo says.
