Big news! We are beyond excited to announce the launch of GCE Rockies, our new Denver-based outpost serving clients with their entertainment booking needs throughout the Rockies region. This expansion opens the door to supporting our longtime clients as they plan unforgettable destination events in the region, while also welcoming an entirely new community of clients in the area. With a new office base in Denver, we cannot wait to introduce fresh talent, new faces, and our signature, white-glove entertainment experience to a vibrant market, creating unforgettable celebrations across the Rockies.
Leading GCE Rockies is Kris Donahue, our Regional Manager based in Denver. She will be working closely with clients to curate thoughtful, exciting entertainment options across the region, from high-energy party bands to standout headliners and everything in between. We are thrilled to have her on the team and cannot wait for our clients and partners to experience what she brings to GCE Rockies.
Get to Know Kris
Raised in a deeply musical family as the daughter of guitarist Jerry Donahue and granddaughter of saxophonist and big band leader Sam Donahue, music has always been a central part of Kris’s life. A singer and dancer herself, Kris describes live music as a place of comfort and inspiration, saying,
“Just hearing someone tuning a guitar during soundcheck gives me such a sense of peace and tranquility.”
In her new role, she is excited to bring the GCE experience to clients throughout the Rockies, serving as our boots on the ground and ensuring every event receives the same care, creativity, and attention to detail that GCE is known for nationwide.
Kris is also a long time friend of GCE’s Director and Principal, Sam Austin. She first met Sam while he was working in Los Angeles, and they quickly became fast friends. He even played lead guitar in Kris’s band for several years before he and his wife Sarah moved back to Texas. Reflecting on this connection, Kris shares, “I’m so thrilled to be reunited with them! They’re such wonderful people.” With this shared history and mutual passion for live music, bringing Kris onto the team was a perfect fit for GCE’s first geographical expansion, allowing us to establish a strong, local presence in the Rockies while continuing to deliver the exceptional entertainment experience our clients know and trust.
