From Mexico City, Argentina, Bolivia and Colombia, the members of Sur play a cross-section of the traditional sounds of South America, including music from Brazil, Paraguay, Venezuela, Chile, Ecuador and Uruguay. The songs are traditional but all the arrangements are original. The members of Sur share the harmonies behind Alfredo Espinosa’s lead vocals and trade off on indigenous stringed instruments such as the charango and the cuatro.
