New York society band leader/pianist/ vocalist Michael Carney describes his music as “dancing jazz”. He has assembled a repertory over the last 40 years which includes Broadway show tunes, bossa novas and sambas, pop and rock from the 50’s to the 90’s and contemporary songs – all delivered in a highly danceable style. Carney has played and is still playing the most elegant parties, galas and balls from New York to the Bahamas and from Houston to San Francisco.
